I haven’t written a favourites post in a very long time, in fact I think I’ve only done one before this. So seeing as it’s been a while, I thought it’s time to do one now and I plan to keep this up each month. I’ve got something for the mind, face, body and hair.
1) Hulu
It’s a platform like Netflix or Amazon Prime which broadcasts the latest TV shows, most of them American dramas . I pay around $25 for a three month subscription and I think it’s money well spent as I love American TV shows! Right now I’m obsessed with the new season of Blackish, it’s so funny you have to check it out and it’s got a brilliant cast. Empire is another favourite of mine, season one was amazing and so is season two so far! It’s also been a great place to find shows we don’t get here in the UK, a new find is a TV series called Quantico, starring my girl Priyanka Chopra – it’s about rookies training to be FBI agents. I’m only on the second episode but so far so good!
2) Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask
OMG! Seriously this product has helped my adult acne skin so much! I smother my face with this clay mask 2/3 times a week and it extracts the toxins out of the spots like magic! It’s been perfect for my skin which is sensitive and acne prone. It’s great value for money and you can buy it from Boots and earn some points at the same time, which is always a bonus.
I’ve been looking for the “perfect” gym bag for ages and have spent/wasted a lot of money in the process and now have a mini collection of not so “perfect” gym bags. It’s just me being really picky and particular and I really don’t know why it’s been such a problem to connect with my gym bag – sounds so silly I know but, it’s important to be able to pack the bag so I know where everything is! I picked up this little beauty whilst I was in Spain this summer from a fabulous little shop called Oysho, which is a sister company of Zara. It’s a great size with loads of little pockets and compartments for all the essentials and it’s really well priced.
4) L’occitane Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner for Dry & Damaged Hair
This stuff is so amazing! It’s pricey and a real treat but it leaves my hair looking and feeling amazing. It also smells so good, like so good! Every time my hair swishes from side to side when I’m walking and I catch a whiff of my hair it makes me feel so good! It’s the little things in life!
I’ve used this stuff for ages but haven’t done so for a while, that was until recently and I was instantly reminded of just how freaking amazing it is! My skin always feels so soft, clean and fresh after using it. If you don’t mind the smell of coffee and making a bit of a mess in the bath/shower you should definitely jump onto this bandwagon, you won’t regret it.
