There seems to be a day for everything these days and apparently today is “Send a Card to a Friend Day.” I think it would be quite sweet to send a card to someone because in this digital age it’s something we don’t do enough of.
What’s the point of sending a card? It’s an opportunity to remind someone how much you care about them or that you are thinking of them. It shows you have made an effort especially for them to buy a meaningful card, hand write a thoughtful message and then post it!
I’m still a card sender, I love the act of going to a card shop and finding a message or design that fits the personality of my friend or family member. I love sending out Birthday cards, Christmas cards, Thank You cards and even I’m Just Thinking of You cards.
I’ve listed some of my favourite places below to buy cards from and what they have in stock right now.
From Paperchase – perfect to remind a friend just how much they mean to you. The style is cheeky and fun adding to the spontaneity of sending and receiving this card.
From Ohh Deer – I love anything designed by the fabulous Gemma Correll. She has an amazing selection in the Ohh Deer store and this pug card is the perfect reminder of showing your affection.
From M&S – the cards at Marks and Spencer are always well made and great value for money.
From kikki.K – if you’re after simplicity and style then you’ve found the right place.
From John Lewis – such a cute way to remind someone that new beginnings lie ahead.
