As I mentioned on Instagram I didn’t blog this week due to a bereavement in my family, unfortunately my uncle passed away but I’m sure he is now at peace. When you lose people, it makes you feel even more grateful for the little things in life so, I want to take this opportunity to blog about one thing from each day of this week that I’ve been grateful for.

Daily Favourites Tuesday
“The goal is not to be successful, the goal is to be valuable. Once you’re valuable, instead of chasing success, it will attract itself to you.” – Bossbabe
Daily Favourites Wednesday
I was so grateful for this beautiful blue sky while on my run today. It was hot and I was struggling but the sky just made me want to keep on going.
Daily Favourites Thursday
I love all types of fruit, I could probably live off fruit alone if I had to. I was so grateful for this delicious pomegranate today!
Daily Favourites Friday
My BFF told me how she has recently discovered the amazing Dr Wayne Dyer so I pulled out all my physically books (I have loads more on my kindle). I think I may re read ‘The Power of Intention’, it’s such an amazing book and this is one of my favourite quotes, ‘Change the way you look at things and the things you look at will change.’
Daily Favourites Saturday
I came across this book ‘The Velveteen Rabbit‘ and listened to it this morning, it’s such a lovely story – even for an adult. Sometimes self help books can be filled with so much jargon that you just need to take it back to your childhood and hear something simple with a big message.
“It doesn’t happen all at once. You become. It takes a long time. That’s why it doesn’t happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in your joints and very shabby. But these things don’t matter at all, because once you are Real, you can’t be ugly, except to people who don’t understand.”
